Facto is card authorization infrastructure that lets any card program authorize purchases against live onchain balances and positions: stablecoins in yield accounts, assets in external wallets, collateral in DeFi protocols. Users keep their money where it works. Facto makes it spendable at the moment of payment.
Every crypto card today solves the same timing mismatch the same way. Card payments authorize in milliseconds; onchain settlement takes longer and can fail. So programs force users to preload a dedicated card balance.
This creates three costs:
Facto sits at the authorization step. When a cardholder pays, Facto verifies the eligible onchain balance in real time, authorizes the transaction, moves the required funds, and absorbs the settlement exposure for the flow.
One integration enables spending from:
Authorizing against volatile or productive external positions is a credit decision made in under a second, backed by a liquidation risk engine.
That engine is proven. The team built the largest lending protocol on Sei — 200M TVL, 80K+ users, zero bad debt, including through a live bank-run and liquidation crisis. Facto applies the same engine to card authorization.
Competing approaches—debit against pre-migrated stablecoins, or receivables financed by third-party credit lines—either force capital migration or add financing cost. Facto's architecture structurally removes both.
